(Registered Aerodrome) The Bancroft Community Airport was created in 1963 with the incorporation of the Bancroft Flying Club (BFC), a non-profit organization with a mandate to promote aviation and air transportation in the region. The airport is operated by BFC. It is named for a former Bancroft Reeve, Jack Brown, who was instrumental in its creation.
