On Highway 62N, north of Maynooth you will find the Hamlet of Maple Leaf.

PAPINEAU LAKE BEACH

Highway 62N to South Papineau Lake Road.  Stay right at the fork, onto Dog Point Road.

The water is shallow and warm and the sand is soft, making it ideal for little kids. This beach is in a secluded remote area and has no facilities. No overnight camping, day use only. Only a few kilometers away from Papineau Creek Day Park on Park road.

PAPINEAU CREEK FALLS

A gorgeous little waterfall worth seeking out. It’s visible from the road, but you would have to climb through the bushes to get close.  This is located north of Maple Leaf off Highway 62N, past laneway #35206 and you’ll see a kind of a v roughed into the rock cut on the east side.

Papineau Creek Day Park is just around the corner off Park Road:
