When it’s too hot to do anything else, it’s a great time for the beach! Lucky for you there are several beaches in the area that offer great places for family swimming during those hot summer days.

There are so many lakes in our area that it would take a whole lifetime to explore all of them – but ask anybody, it only takes one lake to make a lifetime’s worth of memories! But of course the easier it is for you to get out on the water, the easier it is to start making all those memories – that’s why we’ve prepared a handy list of local lakes with public boat launches for you convenience!

There’s nothing quite like the feeling of spending a night in the wilderness – the taste of s’mores, the smell of the campfire, the lullaby of frogs and crickets, and if you’re lucky, the best sunrise you could ever ask for. But remember not to whistle at night!

While Bancroft itself has very few natural caves, you can find several great places to go spelunking not too far away!
